British Airways reported in the second quarter of 2009 gross loss of 148 million pounds. During the same period the previous year, the company earnings amounted to 37 million pounds - has informed the BBC. An operating loss amounted to 94 million pounds and operating profits for comparison for the same period last year amounted to 35 million pounds.

Corporate Income in the last quarter fell 12.2 percent. to 1 billion 983 million pounds.
